eResources for Adults
The Libby Book Club for WA is a monthly digital book club available exclusively to Western Australian public and state library members, hosted by local author David Allan-Petale.
The book club takes place on the third Wednesday of each month. Shire of Capel Library members can now borrow the first book chosen for the Libby Book Club for WA with no waiting or holds on the Libby website in either ebook or eaudiobook. Download the Libby app using the links below.

BorrowBox provides access to WA Public Libraries’ fiction and LOTE ebook and eaudiobook collection, which can be browsed and borrowed through the website or BorrowBox app. New titles are added frequently across both formats.

With Hoopla you can watch movies and television, listen to music and audiobooks, read eBooks, comics and more!
You can also access BingePass which gives unlimited access to partner content and counts as just one borrowed item.

Kanopy provides access to a collection of films – including award-winning documentaries, training films and theatrical releases. Library members can view up to 4 films or documentaries (play credits) within a one month loan period. Play Credits are reset on the 1st of every month.
eResources for kids
OverDrive eReading Room just for kids provides a safe and easy browsing experience for children. The eReading Room just shows items suitable for children, where they can browse, place holds and borrow eBooks appropriate for their age range and reading level.
Kanopy Kids provides access TV series, learning languages, animated storybooks, Anime favourites, classic films and family movies to suitable for children.
Story Box Library provides a place where children can connect and engage with the wonderful world of Australian Children’s Literature. Listen to stories read by Australian storytellers who add meaningful and entertaining readings. Supported by State Library of WA’s Better Beginnings program.
Busythings is an award-winning educational platform with over 300 games available for children in pre-school to Year 3. These games are designed to entertain and educate whilst developing skills in literacy, numeracy, creativity and general knowledge.
Library Craft is free Minecraft server for WA children aged 7 to 17. Kids can access multiple worlds, stretch their creativity skills, solve problems together and enter monthly build competitions for great prizes.
